In the Americas, many people are Me First or else you get bothered. Many Americans are entitled, arrogant, smug, overly self assured, rude, narcissistic, and abusive to others. The macho mindset that oppresses and marginalizes women still exists at some levels of society. There is far more gender equality and equal pay for women in Europe. Women are respected and seen as persons Salaries for women are high. Most women in Scandinavian countries are well educated and earn over $100K a year. Many people work at home. Workdays end at 4 pm. Few people ever work overtime. Work places strongly support families and pregnant women. European men are also paid well. European men have equal roles in caring for children and taking care of household chores including cleaning and cooking. That is why many people prefer more well educated, respectful, considerate, polite, and refined Scandinavian culture. Some European countries are the happiest places in the world. America needs to become much more like the Scandinavian and other European countries.

Appreciate the honesty and humor. I really missed the convenience stores and the affordable MdDs and Dunkin coffee and meals in Europe. Everything is very expensive in Scandinavian and some other European countries because most people make high salaries compared to the Americas.

I moved to Sweden 2 years ago. The biggest thing that annoys me a is this complacency people have. Like crabs in a bucket: "let's suck together". Statistics show that only 20% of people working in office jobs here are really engaged in what they're doing, but damned will you be to say such stuff, we don't do that here, we stick our head in the sand and pretend all is ok. It is not ok to be a looser dude, coasting on the welfare state. They took this equality shit to the extreme.
